Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kannakaredes is a native of New York City. She has played the roles of Dr. Sydney Hansen (NBC) as well as Dr. Lane Hunter (The Resident) two medical dramas, on television. Her breakout performance as Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. The actress has also appeared on 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently making a film adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the team who wrote the movie Immortals. She's also filming a new television series titled Gods & Heroes.
