Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actress from America. After her debut on film with the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy's is both an American actor and a writer. At the beginning of the 80s, she started her career in film with the crime thriller film Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie and also starred popular actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. While the budget for the film was only $1 million the film's profits were more than $50 million. In the meantime the actress began appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. In April 1980, the show started airing. The show was designed for teenagers. She also appeared on other TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. in Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. She is also as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film with her part being only a short cameo. Sheedy for her amazing performances has won numerous awards including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
