Two more singles off the album stiffed Decker battled with label management for more control over her music and her subsequent single Boys in the Summer was a more country-oriented release. Decker released her second album with two titles: Sweet American Dreams or Daughter of a Gypsy. Mercury shelved it when the first three singles failed to make it onto the country charts. Decker then was let be released from her contract.
