Annaleigh Amanda Ashford (born April 14, 1980) was an American actor, singer as well as a dancer. She began her Broadway career with musicals like Wicked, Legally Blonde, as well as Hair. in You Can't Take It With You She was the recipient of the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in the Play. Ashford was Paula Jones most recently in Ryan Murphy's FX's American Crime Story Impeachment, which is based on the scandal that was involving Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp in the national security crisis. Two seasons ago, Ashford played a prominent role in CBS's hit comedy B Positive. She also appeared in the popular series developed by Marco Pennette Chuck Lorre, which featured the legendary actresses Linda Lavin Hector Elizondo Ben Vereen. Not a stranger to Broadway Ashford has been awarded both the Tony Drama Desk Award and the Outer Critics Circle Awards with her role as Essie. Sunday in the Park with George Wicked legally blonde and the character that was originally played by Lauren in Kinky Boots were among her other Broadway credits. Ashford has been brought up in Denver is now based in Los Angeles and New York.
